Introduction
All users are expected to abide by official policies and guidelines.
Policies
Behaviour
- Self promotion or advertising will not be tolerated. This does not mean that all mention of commercial related items or services is forbidden in articles. However anything along this line should be done in a non-biased way. pcarworkshop administrators will make the final call on what is acceptable.
- Abuse will not be tolerated. Vandalizing articles, Personal attacks Libelous statements, etc. will lead to the loss of any editing privileges.
- You agreed to allow others to modify your work.
Content and Style
- Abide by the information in the General disclaimer article.
- Avoid bias. Articles should be written from a neutral point of view, representing views fairly, proportionately and without bias.
- Be Bold. Wiki content grows and improves when people create and edit articles. Don’t be afraid to edit an article if you feel something is incorrect or incomplete. It is your responsibility to create new content. However you should also not take it personally if someone edits content that you have previously created.
- Don't include exact copies of content from primary sources.
- Check your facts
- Cite sources when possible
Deletion
- pcarworkshop is a repository for technical and DIY information related to Porsche automobiles. Content that is not deemed to be in this spirit may be edited or removed. This includes the potential use of automated controls by the Wiki administrators to allow for the approval or denial of edits.
